Vegetable washing machine

The Allround vegetable washing machines are designed to operate with a water basin. In this water basin, the water used in the commercial vegetable washer is recirculated to be used again. The washing drum of the machine is designed to agitate produce in the machine. In combination with water, this process gives an optimal cleaning result.

U Range

The U range washing machines has an outfeed web belt with cleats. The outfeed height of the vegetable wash line is therefore adjustable, and the excess water falls through the web.

UK Range

The UK range washing machines are designed to operate without a water basin. In this vegetable washing machine we have included a slurry chain which takes out the sludge in the machine. Because of this, the UK type vegetable wash line is particularly suitable to operate with an internal water recirculation system.

PDK Range

​The PDK range washing machines are designed for potatoes that are grown on soil with a lot of clods and stones. In front of the commercial vegetable washer there is a destoner, which cleans your produce of clods and stones. After the destoner, the produce is directly fed to the washing drum of the vegetable processing machine. The vegetable wash line has a slurry chain under the machine. This slurry chain removes sludge from the bottom of the machine. Because of this, the PDK type vegetable washing machine is particularly suitable to operate with an internal water recirculation system.

C Range

​The C range is especially designed for companies that mainly process products that are not very vulnerable. That makes this type of vegetable washing machine well suited for carrot processing. This is due to the fact that this commercial vegetable washer is not able to have a layer of water inside the drum. The water cleaning the produce only comes from the spray pipes in the machine. Furthermore, the machine does not have a product outlet belt, but it has an outlet chute. therefore, the machine is ideal for companies that are starting to wash carrots.

Options

Stainless steel machine

In some exceptional cases, when the machine is used in a place where very high hygiene standards are used, Allround makes your vegetable washing machine from stainless steel.

Pintle rubber in the drum

In some cases, especially with a very sticky soil on the produce, it helps to have more agitation of the produce by adding pintle rubber. Usually pintle rubber is used to clean the small holes of potatoes, but it can also be used to agitate carrots for a better cleaning result.

Brush in the drum

A brush in the drum is used for extra cleaning of the produce. This agitates the produce more for a higher cleaning effect on the produce. Especially heavier soil is cleaned off the produce more effectively when you add a brush to your vegetable wash line.

Electric pneumatic valve for water level adjustment

An electric pneumatic valve for water level adjustment is used to automatically regulate the water level in the vegetable washing machine.

Fan on the outlet belt

In some cases, it is desirable that the produce on the outlet belt is dried a little bit. When this is the case, Allround offers an optional fan on the outlet belt of the commercial vegetable washer.

Recirculation system

If there is no water basin available at the site, the customer can opt for the recirculation system in the vegetable wash line. This system consists of a water bin under the drum with a pump that sends the water back to the spray pipes.

Supply or recirculation pump

Whether a water basin or a recirculation system is used, the water needs to be pumped to the spray pipes. Allround optionally offers these pumps if required.
